Apex High School Senior Session | Serena at the Willow Tree | Apex NC Photographer

I recently had the absolute pleasure of spending the afternoon with Serena, a graduating senior from Apex High School. If I had to describe this session in one word, it would be “easy.” From the moment she finished up her hair and makeup with the talented Jenna, everything just flowed perfectly. She had one inspiration in mind, Taylor Swift!

Serena has such a classic, effortless style. We started off with a great casual look featuring a Hollister top and jeans from TJ Maxx. For her dressier shots, she chose two stunning pieces from Altar’d State: a crisp white dress and a beautiful blue dress paired with shoes from DSW.

As we explored some of my favorite spots right here in Apex, we stumbled upon a gorgeous willow tree. Serena mentioned it reminded her of a Taylor Swift aesthetic, and honestly, I couldn’t agree more. It ended up being the highlight of the day.

When Serena isn’t busy being a student at Apex High, she is incredibly active in our community. She plays on the Apex Golf Team and the Apex Unified Track team. She’s also a total creative, spending her time reading, painting, crocheting, and gardening. On top of all that, she spends time volunteering through TopSoccer.

She is headed off to UNC Chapel Hill in the fall, and I have no doubt she is going to do amazing things in Chapel Hill. Serena, thank you for trusting me to capture this milestone for you. You made my job so much fun.
