Who says you have to pay an arm and a leg to get “High Fashion” editorial!?

I did a little experiment with six of my beautiful models where I bought clothes at a consignment shop, got them some professional hair and makeup and then we went shooting in downtown Raleigh, NC.

I would love to give credit to a local Clayton, NC shop for the majority of all the clothing that you see. Pizazz Clothing can be found at https://harborshelter.org/pizazz/ Everything purchased at this store helps women survive domestic violence situations. If you grow out of your clothing, please consider donating to either the Clayton or Smithfield locations.

Professional hair and makeup was performed by these two amazing women. Tovah Coats with https://www.sterlingbrandlab.com/ @sterlingbrandlab and Michelle Clark with http://www.karenmichelleclark.com/ @karenmichelleclark did these girls and me RIGHT. They embodied a high color/bold look to turn their outfits into the editorial look we were looking for in this shoot.

“Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live.” —Gianni Versace
